Pearls of Wisdom Chinese Medicine is very proud to present a three-hour recording on Chinese Medicine management of paediatric diseases by Professor Xu Rong Qian of Dongzhimen Hospital, Beijing.

Professor Xu Rong Qian was born in Jilin and his father was a famous Chinese Medicine doctor in the area giving him continuous exposure to Chinese Medicine since he was young. From 1966-1968 he studied Chinese medicine under the guidance of his father Xu Shao En. Professor Xu graduated from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 1978 and since then he embarked on a career specialising in the treatment of paediatric diseases at the Beijing Dongzhimen Hospital. In 1990 he was selected by the Chinese government to be the successor to the renowned TCM paediatrician Professor Liu Bi Chen. Professor Xu Rong Qian specialises in the treatment of paediatric recurrent contraction of cold, chronic cough, allergic rhinitis, asthma, anorexia, viral myocarditis, Tourette syndrome etc.
