Official Incorporation of Australian Chinese Medicine Anti-Cancer Society

On behalf of Professor Li Zhong of Ming Yi Tang, Sydney,  Pearls of Wisdom Chinese Medicine is proudly announcing the official incorporation of Australian Chinese Medicine Anti-Cancer Society.

Australian Chinese Medicine Anti-Cancer Society (ACMACS) is a newly established association with membership mainly from the Australian registered Chinese Medicine practitioners;  cancer researchers and western medicine oncologists.  This Society or incorporation  is  officially registered with the  Consumer Affairs Victoria, Australia better known as CAV.

The objective of ACMACS is to promote collaboration between Australia and China as well as other western countries with a specific aim to  build an international academic platform for TCM oncology and  promote the global  exchange of knowledge along with the dissemination and development of anticancer research in traditional Chinese medicine. Also our goal is  to establish a standardized clinical  teaching and research system that will enhance  TCM oncology. It is with this objective that the Australian Chinese Medicine Anti- cancer Society warmly welcomes scholars from all over the world who are committed to this meaningful mission.

About Dr Greta Young Jie De

Dr Greta Young was awarded her masters degree of Chinese Medicine in Wen Bing at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, later returning to complete her doctorate on Shang Han Lun under the supervision of Professor Fu Yan Ling. She spent twelve years lecturing in classic literature at the major universities and colleges in Melbourne. Since 2002, Dr Greta Young has presented Chinese medicine seminars and workshops to the Australian Chinese medicine community, seeking out and bringing to this country a succession of no less than fourteen experienced academicians and clinicians from China, each a specialist in a particular field, with many years of concerted clinical experience. Over the past ten years, her efforts have been instrumental in providing some of the most valuable lecture experiences in Australia, serving as a mature level of continued educational opportunity for practitioners and advanced students alike.
