2019 Pearls Live Educational Webinar

Professor Chen Ming explained that Ma Xing Gan Shi Tang is indicated for a pattern that is neither Tai Yang or Yang Ming, it is a disorder between the two channels. For Tai Yang pattern, Gui Zhi Tang is indicated while for Yang Ming pattern, there should be big fever. Having said that, this does not mean that Ma Xing Gan Shi Tang cannot be used for patient characterised by fever. This is because Shi Gao is very effective to reduce fever.
