Professor Xue Ju Fu is the disciple of Professor Zhu Chen Yu who was a renowned diabetes specialist. In 1986, with the support of Zhu Chen Yu the first integrated western and chinese medicine clinic was established which is now the current Beijing Xing Yuan Jin Fang Chinese Medicine Clinic in Shun Yi, Beijing. In 1998, Professor Xue pioneered the Beijing Qian Jin Diabetes Research Centre in Beijing aimed at continued research on diabetes. In January 2019, the Jing Fang College was established to promote continuous Chinese medicine education with Professor Xue as the dean and  founder member.
