Professor Xue Yi Ming is one of China’s foremost experts in the Schools of Thought of Chinese Medicine. He specialises in the study of a number of early Chinese Medicine practitioners and the individual philosophy of each towards disease and its treatment. After graduating in 1982, Professor Xue Yi Ming undertook research in the field of Chinese Medicine Classic Literature and Schools of Thought, and in 1993 he was awarded a Ph.D degree with honours in Schools of Thought. Currently, he heads the Schools of Thought Faculty at Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine. In addition to his academic and research work, Professor Xue has accumulated over twenty years of clinical experience at the Internal Medicine Department of Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine.
